What Music Are You Listening to Right Now ? (Now Playing)

Postby Riza » Fri Oct 05, 2007 6:10 pm

Okay, before I start I just want to say that since the first time I've been posting here , I've always wanted to make this thread but then decided to put a NP ( Now Playing ) at the end of my posts instead.

But that means we only know what I'm hearing and not knowing what the rest of you are listening to. Ofcourse besides some others who have those fancy signatures with automatic playlists ( still keeps me wondering how do you do that Dave  )

So to keep it short, let's just get on with it ..

Now Playing ( NP ) : DJ Kawaski ft Kelli Sae - Let's Get Started
........fits this thread perfectly.. :D

Well actually, I'm working through my Letter D's - so I'm listening to

DJ T - Class of '84 (from the Boogie Playground set)

Don't rush out and buy it FFS!

But, tonight I have been positively moved by

Diana Ross : Tenderness [Chic Mix]

Winner!

Rules :

the rule is you don't have to post what you are actually listening to,
but let's just share or let us know what song are you into
or even a song that has been playing in your head
or even some track that you heard on your way to the office and you like it a lot..

so, it should be fun.. :D

my next

Rasmus Faber ft Ida - This Love

That's a nice idea, Riza. Well, this morning, I picked up a CD that I hadn't listened to in a very long time:

Sade's "Promise" - what a fine album, indeed. The song that stuck with me all day was "Maureen".

Cheers,

Kai

I really like pulling up any tracks that have been suggested on the forum from different threads.....chances are I may have it or something by the artist or similar. Keeps my listening varied & interesting.

Actually discovered this one through this very forum so thanks to all.
Had it a couple of months but just keeps getting better everytime I listen to it.

Nice plug, hope you're enjoying it! :D

I'm listening to an album by A Certain Ratio put out on Factory Records in 1981. It's great industrial-post-punk-funk which I guess you will either adore or abhore.

I'm going through a bit of a Factory Records phase at the moment with the passing of Tony Wilson earlier this year and I've dug out New Order's "Power Corruption and Lies" and Joy Division's "Closer" recently too.

I'm looking forward to watching Anton Corbijn's biography of Ian Curtis and Joy Division in his first feature "Closer" next week. I absolutely love AC's art-direction (particularly of Depeche Mode) and have a good feeling about this film - I hope I'm not let down.
