Peeps,

Any ideas where I can get polyphonic ringtones of the cog anywhere?

Thanks

My boss has a Nokia 6600 and for him to play mp3 ringtones I send him, the Nokia has to convert them into its own type of mp3 file and then you have to dump the ringtone into a certain folder - far too complicated for my liking! I prefer Sony Ericsson mobiles - this one is a K700i - its got everything I could possible need - plus 3D Darts :? LOL. I created an MP3 clip on my pc, turn on bluetooth both ends, zap it from pc to phone and bingo - Cog ringtones! Coooool :D

D'ya know what? I tried musical mp3s as ringtones but they are just not loud enough to cut the mustard. Then I got some mp3s of actual old-skool phones like the old BT chirps and the bring-bring bell ones and they are the shiznit.

PM me if you want them.

I've got mp3 clips of the intro to 'Good Times', the massive synth solo from Nova Fronteira's 'Fact Of Life' and the opening bars of 'Pick Up The Pieces' currently on rotation as my ringtones.

I'm using them on the new Orange SPV C500 and they sound the nutz!

Plus, I've got the cover of AIBS as my homescreen wallpaper. Nice. 8) 8)

Michelle, I was also going to get that SonyErricson but some friend told me that the battery life was craps. It didn't even last a day.
So I'm still using my 'old' 9210 Nokia communicator.
Besides, I only need to expand the memory to 256 kb and zap! You get lots of space for mp3 clips ringtones and even the whole mp3 tracks of cog tracks..yummmy... :D

Hahah - Tonewheel has a Nokia 9210i - the insurance co. replaced his old 9200 brick when it got stolen from the Jazz Cafe! SE battery life on the T610 I had was amazing - 4 days or so before needing to charge, but the K700i isnt as good in that respect - 2 days max and I have to charge it.

Andre - CoolEdit :D

I think there is 40mb of memory on the K700i but im not using it as an mp3 player so im no where near filling it up!

That's not quite right, Stef.
This brick has been hangin on my waist as if it were part of my stomach.
So sometimes it does make me look like a fat belly   :(
No offense to anybody.
Can't wait for the 9500, but the price is ridiculous...
